i speak Spanish fluently and in the future and I hope to study French.

I, Luis Gasca-Esquivel, am a student at Heritage High School who lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with my father J. David Gasca-Ruiz, my mother Norma Esquivel-Miranda, my sister Aide Jasmin Gasca-Esquivel, and my cousin with his roommate. I currently care for a small farm, that includes chickens, horses, bulls, cows, and a donkey. At my farm, I milk my cows, collect the eggs, and feed and water the animals. Occasionally I’m tasked with bathing the animals if they are dirty enough. This farm however, is in Mexico and is nine acres. Some of which is passed down to my generation of the family for future care. I was born in Knightdale, North Carolina. I played football in Middle School as a Defensive Lineman. I was also the President of The Photography Club at Durant Road Middle School. I now enroll at Heritage High School as a Freshman. Heritage High School is a fairly large school at about 2,200 currently enrolled, and is stationed in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Heritage High School is claimed to be one of the best public high schools in it’s area. I built houses, and taught children from all backgrounds how to fish and shoot a bow under an organization called Kids In Nature. I am interested in construction, architecture, home remodeling, woodwork, and French. Lastly, I am bilingual and can speak fluent Spanish and English.

I plan to establish a firm foundation for my college education, and plan to study architecture at UNC Charlotte or NC State. Through this education I hope that in the future and can buy a good home, care for a family, and set my children up for success.
